# Stuck At Work? Look To What The Future May Hold

### What’s your role? What’s your business future?

Gallup recently reported that, for the first time since it began tracking the life evaluation of the U.S. workforce, more workers are struggling in their lives (49%) than thriving (46%). 

Here's another Gallup figure: 52% of U.S. employees are actively seeking or watching for a new job. And Gallup also reports that only 31% of U.S. employees are engaged at work. 

That's the lowest level of the past decade, down from 36% in 2020\. Gallup estimates that decline represents roughly 8 million fewer engaged workers than in 2020.

### Let those sink in. More working Americans describe themselves as struggling than thriving.

- 78% respect their franchisor.
- 76% trust their franchisor.
