First, I want to get something out of the way right from the start. Yes, the image of me is generated by AI. I know you knew that. AI images are so obvious. But they also make me look good, so here we are. At least I'm being up front about it, right? And yes, I actually do look like the guy in the picture.

What is Business Builder Magazine?

This is a publication written for an audience of aspiring and new business owners. You know, the people who know they've already spent too much of their working lives building empires for other people while doing work they don't care about, for bosses they don't respect, surrounded by people they don't like, in environments that crush their souls, leaving nothing left for the most important people and activities in life.

Education and Trends

In Business Builder Magazine you'll find articles educating you about business ownership in the United States. We'll also talk about current trends in US entrepreneurship and business in general. Things are changing so rapidly! We'll keep you on top of it.

Inspiring Grand Opening Stories

You'll read stories about regular people like you and me who have just opened their new businesses.

Business Ideas and Planning

We'll share business ideas we believe you should consider. And for premium subscribers, we'll share city-by-city articles answering the question, "What business should I start in my city?" The articles will also give you an opportunity to purchase a 15-20 page comprehensive market analysis and business builder plan for each city. These are deeply researched, usually with over 80 local and national, public and government reference points.

Franchise News and Updates

We also publish a weekly franchise news briefing. There's so much news happening in the franchise world every week, and we're going to consolidate if for you into a weekly digest.

Who is Will Huffhine?

I'm that guy I mentioned earlier. You know, the guy who spent too much time making other people's dreams come true.

I spent over 30 years in the corporate world, first in retail management, with the last 24 years in the newspaper industry. I also spent over 30 years living a pretty unhappy and unfulfilling life because I was an entrepreneur at heart, walking around in corporate clothing pretending that I cared about the work I was doing just so I could keep the paychecks coming.

That's a shitty way to live.

After my third layoff in the newspaper industry in 2019 I decided that was enough. I was 51 years old and vowed to spend the rest of my life building my own businesses and helping other people escape employment to build theirs so they could begin living and working differently.

I started a rental car company, a travel agency, a business coaching practice, and in 2023 I founded Quantum Franchise Group headquartered in Michigan with 13 offices nationwide.

We're contracted with over 500 franchise systems and business licensing opportunities to help them expand into new markets in partnership with new local business owners.

Since 2022 my team and I have helped over 150 people open new businesses, and another 100 or so acquire existing businesses.
