Starting a Business is Hard

The fact that you're reading this email tells me that you've been thinking about this for a long while.

Maybe even since you were a child. You know, the crazy idea that you could actually be the one in control of your work, your career, your financial well-being, and your freedom, instead of surrendering that control to a "boss," at a company that really cares nothing about you as a human being or the dreams you have for your life.

I spent over 30 years of my life dreaming about being the one in control, coming up with idea after idea after idea for a business of my own. I spent decades thinking, dreaming, wishing, trying, and failing. It wasn't until I was 50 years old that I had my breakthrough, and from there began successfully creating business after business after business. Once that breakthrough came, I never looked back. Instead, I looked outward, at all of the people I saw, like me, who needed that breakthrough, and I began helping them.

Since the summer of 2021 I've built a community of thousands of aspiring and new business owners.

Through an industry specific coaching program I've created and provided resources that over 3,000 of them have used to either start, or expand their businesses. Owning a business means giving the world something only you can give.

Everything you see in the world today that solves problems, entertains, educates, heals, and makes life easier and more comfortable came from the mind of one man or woman, at some point in time, who had the courage to make it happen. It's your turn to change the world.

Owning a business means becoming the best version of yourself.

I believe you're here for a reason. That magic inside of you, that the world needs, is aching to take the lead. As long as it is silenced, subdued, and hidden away, you're going to wake up every day feeling like something is missing, that you're not being, and doing, all that you are here to be and do. Add to that the control that you give to "bosses" and companies that don't care about you, and you're not going to feel all that excited to wake up each morning and do it all over again.

Owning a business means giving those you love what they most deserve.

One of the reasons I spent decades failing at every attempt to start a business is because I kept trying to do it alone. I had no teachers or mentors. I had nobody to help me who possessed the skills and knowledge I needed, but didn't have myself. I had nobody encouraging me and cheering me on. And I had nobody calling me out when I made mistakes.

I found my breakthrough when I added all of those people to my circle, and began listening to them, learning from them, and allowing myself, and my business, to be helped and guided by them, while never surrendering myself or my vision of what could happen.
